Allworx names Jason Beckett new Director of Sales

FAIRPORT, N.Y., October 23, 2006 - Allworx, the Small Business VoIP Company, today announced that Jason M. Beckett has become its new Director of Sales. Beckett brings almost 20 years of channel experience in the telecom industry to Allworx. In his role as Director of Sales, Beckett will be responsible for managing Allworx’ award-winning channel program, and he will use his extensive relationships to further expand the company’s network of channel partners.
Beckett comes to Allworx from King Technologies, a leading value-added distributor of telecommunications products, where he served as VP of Business Development. During his tenure, he was responsible for growing the company’s distribution channel and reseller programs, and he was also responsible for adding Allworx as a key component of King’s distribution strategy.
Prior to King, Beckett was Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing for Estech Systems, (ESI). During his three years there, he doubled the number of resellers and increased sales by more than 100 percent. Beckett also worked at Samsung Telecommunications America, Business Communications Systems Division, (STA), as Director of Sales, where he managed several new product launches, and helped to increase the company’s sales to $64 million annually. Prior to Samsung, Beckett spent more than 10 years at Comdial Corporation, in roles ranging from one of the top Regional Sales Representatives, to Director of Product Planning.
Beckett holds a B.S. degree from the School of Public Communications at Boston University and recently graduated from the Wharton School’s Executive Management program on Strategic Thinking and Management for Competitive Advantage.
