Your Allworx system includes OfficeSafe™, which automatically backs up your shared files, contacts, messaging system and system files — according to your schedule. Additional backup options are also available as accessories.

Allworx manages the receipt and distribution of email, and supports both POP3 and SMTP Internet email standards. It can be configured easily to recognize spam, and isolate spurious messages. The server is also compatible with Microsoft Outlook/Express.

You can store network files and manage users' access to them with this server. The Allworx 10x also synchronizes files, calendars, email, and more — and updates the information on both the user's PC and the server. Your data is accurate, timely, and accessible.

Our firewall uses Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) protocol — the highest level, most sophisticated type of firewall security available today. Used in large, costly enterprise firewall systems, this protects your system from hackers and packet spoofing techniques, as well as "denial of service" attacks. This high-end firewall is included in your Allworx system, saving you anywhere from $400 - $2,200+ and per-user fees.

At installation, Allworx automatically launches two intranet sites for company and system management:
- Password-protected administrative site manages phone configurations, personnel information, network settings, email settings, etc.
- Corporate intranet launches individual Web pages and gives co-workers access to shared calendars, files, distribution lists, and corporate information.
Staff members and installers do not have to spend time creating these Web sites, which saves time and continually integrate functions across the system.

This server manages a fully secured LAN subnet. The Allworx 10x has a full 80 GB of hard drive storage, and the Allworx 24x has 40 GB of hard drive storage. They can easily accommodate your system services. The Allworx 6x comes with a 256 MB Compact Flash Card or an optional external USB hard drive.

Allworx provides public WAN interfaces to external networks, and supports external Internet functions (such as HTTP and FTP). You can choose from multiple Ethernet-based WAN connection options: DSL, cable modem, dial-up, or T1 (requires T1 interface box).
You can choose DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) or static IP (Internet Protocol) to manage your network and Internet interactions efficiently. The system also uses Network Address Port Translation (NAPT ) to hide your network landscape behind a single static IP address on the Internet, decreasing access by hackers. Because of this technology, there's no need to purchase higher-end ISP services with multiple IP addresses — so you'll save approximately $100/month,reduce IT setup and management costs.

Allworx can actually host your company's Internet site. It can support an informational site of approximately 50 pages, using basic HTML such as FrontPage. That's more than enough to attract interest and increase your business potential. When it's time to update pages, you can do it quickly and easily right in-house with Allworx administrator software. This function lets you control your own image on the Web, and saves up to $900 a year.
