Allworx Call Assistant 2.1

This Windows PC-based tool, fully integrated with Allworx VoIP phones is designed to bring ease and efficiency to the operator/receptionist tasks. The new Call Assistant 2.1 version allows users the ability to record all incoming and outgoing calls with the click of a button and dial directly from the Call Assistant application via their desktop. Also included is the new Call History tab located in the Switchboard section. This tab displays all incoming and outgoing calls that have been dialed and received by the user. Call Assistant also provides enhanced views of the company directory and auto attendant status, parked calls, call queues and call monitors. Users can transfer callers between any one of these views via their desktop.

Allworx Call Queuing (with new Call Queues Reports)

A system software option that is used for distributing incoming calls. Calls can be managed with up to 10 different queues. Call Queuing is the perfect solution for the small business that wants to provide the extra touch to the handling of their customer calls. With the new Call Queues Reports businesses can now pull full reports on the number of calls received, serviced, abandoned, exited and timed out for each queue.  

Allworx Conference Center (24x and 6x Only)

Allworx introduces the lowest cost enterprise-class conference solution in SMB VoIP. This user-friendly option includes full security, scheduling, and moderator features. The conference center option for the Allworx 6x includes 1 (one) 8-seat conference bridge and the Allworx 24x includes 4 (four) 8-seat conference bridges.

Allworx Group Calendaring

A system software option that allows a small business to have the benefits of group and individual calendaring without the expense of similar products (e.g. MS Exchange).

Analog Handset Expansion Unit

Top

The Allworx 6x supports 2 analog phones via the two (2) standard FXS ports and can be extended to accommodate up to sixty (60) analog phones with third-party FXS expansion units.

The Allworx 10x supports up to 13 analog phones via the seven (7) standard FXS ports and six (6) dual-mode FXO-FXS ports. Expandable up to thirty two (32) analog handsets with third-party FXS expansion units.

The Allworx 24x supports 5 analog phones via the five (5) standard FXS ports and can be extended to accommodate up to twenty nine (29) analog phones with third-party FXS expansion units.

CO Line Expansion Unit

The Allworx 6x comes standard with six (6) Central Office (CO) lines which can be expanded up to thirty (30) using third-party CO line expansion units. These units come in 4 port, 8 port or 24 port configurations.

The Allworx 10x comes standard with nine (9) Central Office (CO) lines which can be expanded up to thirty three (33) using third-party CO line expansion units. These units come in 4 port, 8 port or 24 port configurations.

The Allworx 24x comes standard with three (3) Central Office (CO) lines which can be expanded up to twenty seven (27) using third-party CO line expansion units. These units come in 4 port, 8 port or 24 port configurations.

Compact Flash Card (6x Only)

The Allworx 6x has a Compact Flash Slot that accepts Type I or Type II Compact Flash Cards. The system comes with a 256MB flash card which allows you to store your voicemail and system settings.

External Hard Disk (6x Only)

Top

The Allworx 6x offers an external hard disk to provide you with more storage to manage your voicemail and email. The hard disk is required for the Group Calendaring application.

Inline Power

Top

Allworx is compatible with various inline (Power over Ethernet – POE)  switches. These switches provide power to your VoIP phones over the network. This eliminates the need for bulky power adapters for every phone. The switch connects to the Allworx system through the 10/100 Ethernet port or a network switch.

Internet Call Access

Top

This software option activates the ability within the Allworx 10x to send voice out over the Internet. This option is required for site-to-site operation or remote user or connecting with an ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider).

Music On Hold

Top

With a standard CD player, your callers will hear the music and messages you've selected when they are put on "Hold." You get the highest quality sound and easy-to-use CD features.

Phones

Power Backup

Top

Allworx recommends connecting Allworx systems, workstations, heavily configured computers and servers to an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to protect your entire network from power surges and failure.

Spanish Language Pack

Top

Allworx now supports two languages at the voice prompt level. English and Castilian Spanish are currently supported.

Switch Options

Depending on the number of network devices you want to connect to the Allworx 10x, you can choose to from an 8-port, 16-port, or even 24-port switch.

Allworx TAPI TSP Driver 2.0

Top

The Allworx TAPI TSP (Telephony Service Provider) Driver transforms your Windows-based PC into a communications powerhouse. Now the Allworx TAPI TSP Driver allows for the following enhancements on 3rd party applications that support these specific features.

•  Support for Multiple Calls: applications that allow for simultaneous multiple calls are now supported

•  Outbound Calling: including placing outbound calls and dialing additional digits on active calls
    (e.g. at an auto attendant or entering a PIN code)

•  Inbound Calling: including answering or receiving prompts and caller information on inbound calls

•  Support for Caller ID: including automatic display of contact information

•  Transfer Call: support for both blind and attended transfers

•  Park Call: support for parking and retrieving parked calls

•  Hold and Un-Hold Call: easily place an active call on hold or un-hold, depending on application


Note:

  1. Not all features may be supported by a TAPI-compliant application. Consult your application's documentation for TAPI feature support (see the Allworx TSP Installation Guide for details on configuring the Allworx TSP driver).
  2. Compatible with Microsoft Windows XP Workstation (32-bit), Windows Vista (32-bit), or Windows 2000.
  3. 64-bit Operating Systems and Server Operating Systems are not supported by the Allworx TAPI TSP Driver 2.0.
  4. Requires Allworx Call Assistant License Key.

VPN (Virtual Private Network)

You would select this option if you have remote users who need to access the data network remotely (e.g. working from home).
