How long does installation take?
Most installations of the Allworx system take from a half day to one day. The Allworx systems include a PBX (Private Branch Exchange) & Key System phone system with enterprise-level services and capabilities. The Allworx phone system supports both Analog and Digital phones.

How does the Allworx product line differ from the other phone/network/data systems available for small businesses?
The Allworx product line is unique in several important ways:
- It's run by a single system, rather than 2 to 5 systems, such as a network server and a phone system and an email server, etc. This streamlined design increases system performance, improves reliability dramatically, and reduces user and system administrator tasks drastically.
- It's all-in-one unit, so there's less hardware and software to connect, configure, store and maintain. Other systems include multiple servers and hardware components all wired together, each with their own software to learn, use and manage.
- It delivers the services small businesses need plus more, without extra costs. User/Admin software is included with the system, as well as, critical things like a backup service, a high-end firewall, online scheduling, and more. And the services provided are more sophisticated than most small businesses expect, such as enterprise-level calling features that make a big difference in daily communications.
- It costs less than all its competitors. The benefits of true convergence have a tangible impact on your bottom line.

What if we change computer systems after we've installed an Allworx?
As long as you continue to use PCs on your network, your system will continue to perform effectively. You will have to change some network settings within the System Admin software, and depending on your new network configuration, other settings may need to be changed as well. Whatever you update or change on your system, the Allworx software makes it easy for your System Administrator to perform the alterations and maintain the system effectively. You can get technical support from Allworx before you make the change, or by calling Allworx at 1-866-Allworx [1-866-255-9679].
Can I add our company's application software to the Allworx server?
To enable seamless access to your applications, your software does not and should not be loaded onto the Allworx server. Your application software can be run on your application or other server, which can be connected to the Allworx network. The Allworx unit is not designed to be an application server. It is a DHCP, DNS, Email, File, VoIP and Web server that manages the routing of all your critical forms of communication. In addition, it can manage the routing of all the other devices on your network and be your main gateway to the Internet. Best of all, Allworx provides seamless interconnection to your existing network or applications because you can turn on or off any one of the Allworx settings.
